What should I bring to Blairvadach?
|
Those visiting as part of a school group on residential should click here for what to bring.
Clothing and equipment should be appropriate to both the planned activity and the forecast weather...
Blairvadach Outdoor Centre will provide you with all the technical gear you will need for your course such as boots, bouyancy aids, helmets etc. If you have your own Personal Protective Equipment and would like to use it, bring it along and we will decide if it's appropriate.
Our modern changing facilities mean that showers and changing rooms are always available for course participants (bring a towel, change of clothes and wash bag).
If you are on a residential course all bedding and linen is provided, you do not need sleeping bags. Please note however that we do not allow use of any electrical items such as mobile phone chargers, hair straighteners etc as these have been deemed to be a fire risk. Hair driers are available if required.
If you are participating in a multi-activity programme then you should bring at least 2 sets of dry clothes to change into, ensuring you can travel home with dry clothes on!
