What if I am a fussy eater, will I like the food?
At Blairvadach we always offer a range of food at meal times to suit most tastes and faiths. We encourage people to try new things however if you have specific dietary requirements please be sure to tell us (ask your group leader) in advance of your visit (we do not use nuts or eggs in our kitchen as standard).

What if I am scared of heights / water, will I be made to do activities I do not want to?
The instructors at Blairvadach will encourage you to try the activities. Many people are surprised as they achieve more than they expected with the assistance of our instructors.

Do I need to be able to swim to take part in water activities?
No, although it is best if you are water confident. All participants will wear a floatation device (a buoyancy aid, like a life jacket) for water activities.

In line with Glasgow City Council Policies, The Centre is a no smoking establishment and alcohol is not permitted on the premises.

Why can’t I come if I’m under 8 years old?
Our equipment is all sized to fit people of ages 8 and above.

What if I sleepwalk or suffer from bed-wetting?
Don’t worry, speak to your group leader and ask them to let us know.
