We, at Blairvadach O.E.C. have created a resource of 30 Outdoor Activity Cards for use in, or outwith, the school environment. We believe that outdoor education, and being outdoors is an important part of any young person’s development, especially during these challenging times. Being outside, learning and exploring a new environment is vital for improving health & wellbeing whilst keeping education fresh and exciting.

Our hope is that these cards can be used to supplement and assist teaching staff with taking learning outside, while providing some fun and educational challenges for the young people of Glasgow. The ‘cards’ have been compiled into a handy pdf document for all to access, and can also be downloaded individually below. They come with clear, easy to follow instructions and each activity has its own supporting video available on ourBlairvadach YouTube playlist, see individual links below. Each card also has helpful tips on ‘organisation and layout’, ‘learning outcomes’, ‘variation and adaptions’, ‘reviewing and feedback’ as well as any extra resources you may require.
